Men That Matter Event

Our first Men That Matter for this year was a HUGE Success!!!!

Children and Families enjoyed the book, The House that Jack Built, by Simms Taback

After the story children and families built and painted a wooden house of their very own.  Families also took part in decorating an apron, and painting a Kindness Rock for the Kindness Rock Garden.

Head Start Learning Links Family Night

Check out the fun our children and families had at last week’s Head Start Learning Links Family Night!!

Families read the book Stick and Stone, by Beth Ferry and Tom Licehtenheld.

A story of Friendship and Caring. “When Stick rescues Stone from a prickly situation with a Pinecone, the pair becomes fast friends. But when Stick gets stuck, can Stone return the favor?”

Congratulations to Liz McLoughlin and Christine Grudoff at Mill Swan B Head Start!

They have both been awarded donations from DonorsChoose!

We look forward to seeing how these donations build our children’s excitement for learning.
